Because we believe a great education leads to great leaders and better communities, we are dedicated to making sure good students and student-athletes get a great education at a reasonable price.

Our goal is to make choosing the right college and paying for it less of a chore and more of an enjoyable activity that allows the whole family to “win”.

Secret #1: It’s Never Too Early

You simply cannot start preparing to pay for college too soon! Most parents have the best of intentions, but mortgages, family vacations, braces and soccer camp get in the way of a college savings plan. Did you know your student can begin as early as 7th grade to apply for scholarship money related to college? We have programs tailored to all ages for college funding.

Secret #2: It’s Never Too Late

The majority of our clients come to us during their student’s junior year of high school; we have worked with students entering their graduate program in college. The bottom line is we will evaluate your situation and let you know if we can add value or not. If we can’t save you a significant amount of money and improve your current cash flow in the process, we’ll be the first to tell you we aren’t a good fit for working together.

Secret #3: Accept and master never-ending change

Congress meets to discuss and revise the financial aid system every two years. Colleges and universities change their criteria for admissions and financial awards every year. Our tax code morphs into a new set of assumptions and rules almost on a daily basis. What worked last year may or may not work next year. Our job is to create plans that lay the foundation for meeting expectations, but have any number of safety nets and escape hatches that allow us to be flexible and handle any changes that are introduced during our planning process.

Initial Consultation (no charge)

This no obligation meeting is designed to explore whether we are a “good fit” in terms of working together. In the world of athletics, there are numerous stories of athletes that simply didn’t reach their full potential under one coach and were traded to another team only to flourish and be deemed a superstar. We are big believers in chemistry and communication and have enough experience to tell you at the end of that first hour whether we will be able to provide substantial value for your family. We are not shy about telling people that we aren’t the right coaching staff for them, or recommending more suitable resources for their situation.

If we believe we can successfully work together and that we can save you a minimum of 25% of your total out-of-pocket college expenses and improve your current cash flow, we will recommend our College Concierge™ Program.

Imagine you’re about to run the rapids of the Colorado River in a rubber raft… no motor on board, just paddles and your love of the great outdoors. Those that have gone before you swear it’s the greatest experience they’ve ever had but they’re pretty vague in terms of the real details of their harrowing adventure.

Sure, you’re a good swimmer and you’ve got great gear for this voyage, but you’ve decided it’s still a good idea to wear a life jacket. You’ve had some experience river rafting but nothing like this!

You find yourself wishing you had a seasoned guide that’s been down these rapids a few hundred times just to help you avoid the most predictable obstacles between here and the mouth of the canyon that empties out into Lake Mead. It’s not that you can’t navigate these waters alone… it’s just that it would be more enjoyable if you had the confidence of knowing you weren’t going to make any unnecessary mistakes, that you would be able to spot trouble before it arrived, that you could head off real danger before it was upon you.

You just want to relieve yourself of that nagging feeling that there is something you’ve missed, something more you could’ve done to prepare, some better way you could master those undercurrents and whirlpools lurking just around every boulder…

College Funding Coaches are the seasoned guides that can save you needless anxiety, time, and money in navigating the treacherous path from high school to college. Too many families are paying “full retail” for a first class education and don’t know they could’ve saved tens of thousands of dollars in the process.
